Plan Your Visit

Welcome to
Trinity!

Walking into a new place for the first time isn’t always easy, so we’ve created this page to answer some of your questions and let you know what to expect.

At Trinity you’ll find people at many different places in their journey of life and faith. We’re a community comfortable with questions and with creating spaces for wrestling. We’re a small enough group for you to find personal connection and relationship but big enough that you won’t stand out when you come to test the waters. Chances are there will be more newcomers like you exploring Jesus and community.

We’re excited to meet you!

Here are the answers to some commonly asked questions when considering a visit to Trinity:

A Typical Sunday

A Sunday morning at Trinity generally has three parts, and we’d love to see you for any or all of them!

9:30 am – 10:30 am:
 Worship Service

A typical worship service includes music, prayer, scripture, and an inspirational teaching time. Nursery care is available for kids under 3 for the entire worship service, and children’s church takes place during the teaching time for kids ages 3 through third grade.

10:30 am – 11:00 am:
  Patio Time

Grab a cup of coffee or lemonade and mingle and connect on our open-air plaza in the center of campus.

11:00 am – 12:00 pm:
 Discipleship Hour

We have age-appropriate classes for kids preschool through high school. Nursery care is available for kids up to age 3. For adults, we return to the Sanctuary for Double Take, an informal Q/A session and discussion with the pastor regarding the message from the morning service. We also have an adaptive adult class serving adults who may have unique learning needs.

Parking

Trinity is located on the northwest corner of 43rd Avenue and West Vista Avenue. There are two parking lots available: a smaller one located on 43rd Avenue, and a larger one located on West Vista Ave, at the opposite end of campus. You are welcome to use either lot. The closest accessible parking spots to our worship space are in the smaller lot on 43rd Ave. There is also a designated drop off zone on West Vista Ave for those with limited mobility.

Entering our Campus

The sanctuary (our primary worship space) is the largest building on campus, near 43rd Ave. There are two primary entrances to the sanctuary, both accessible from the campus patio.

The Children’s Opening Area, Nursery, Youth Building, and Fellowship Hall are all marked by signs you will see as you walk down the central campus plaza. During Discipleship Hour (11:00 am – 12:00 pm), adults typically gather in the sanctuary or fellowship hall. Restrooms are available near the sanctuary entrance.

There is a marked Welcome table in the middle of the patio. Please don’t hesitate to stop by if you have any questions or need assistance.

Opportunities for Kids

If you’re joining us for Discipleship Hour at 11:00 am, you can check in kids under 3 at the door to the Nursery and kids ages 3 through 6th grade at the marked entrance to the Children’s Opening Area. You can pick up all children at the same location where you dropped them off at noon.

Middle school and high school aged youth can enter directly into the youth building.

During the worship service, rockers are available in the back of the sanctuary for those with infants. We also have nursery care available for kids up to age 3. You can check your child in shortly before 9:30 am at the nursery door. Children ages 3 through 3rd grade will be invited to exit with volunteers shortly before the teaching time to go to children’s church in the children’s building. The volunteers will bring them back into the sanctuary to rejoin their families before the end of the service. But if you prefer, your kids are always welcome to stay with you instead. There are “Busy Bags” hanging on the back wall of the sanctuary with activities for restless kids.

We take the safety of your children seriously, and all of our volunteers have been background checked and screened and follow written child protection guidelines.

What to Wear

Trinity isn’t about what you look like or what you wear. Jesus is for everybody! You’ll see jeans and shorts as well as dresses–the entire range. So wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
